Ty

Today my family dog passed away. She was a 12 year old lemon beagle that was so special to me and my family. When I was on a trip in High School or off at College, I would call home and ask to "talk" to her. All my friends would laugh at me but she made me so happy. Every time I would come home she would run outside to greet me and do a happy pee and just love on me. She  always wanted to be petted and was always begging for treats. Her favorite treat was pepperonis! When she got a little older and my parents weren't scared she would run away( beagles follow their noses) they would go get the mail together and her treat was a pepperoni!

A few days ago she stopped eating and drinking. The vet said it was her kidneys and there wasn't much we could do. The vet was going to come to the house in the morning to put her to sleep, but she went naturally in her sleep last night. My mom, dad and brother were by her side petting her and making her comfortable. She was buried under our trees at home where she lived her whole life. My parents built our house a few years before we got Ty so it means a lot to us for her to be there. I know she is in Heaven running around and eating lots of treats! I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I love you Ty.

Back when she was a puppy! She was so beautiful!

This was a christmas 2011. Me, Ryan, Millie and Ty.

I insisted taking a picture with her after my wedding!

I was back home at the end of May for my brothers college graduation and i'm so thankful to have gotten that chance to see her one last time. She was feeling very good when I was there!  This picture was taken in May 2013, just a few weeks before she passed. One morning when I was there, I was the only one in the house so I took a shower with the door open. She would come upstairs and just lay by the shower. She just wanted to be near me while she could. She is so sweet and I will miss her dearly.
